WOW

I hooked up the web for my girl the other day. She used to play World Of Warcraft. She stated to me when she used to rag on me that she wanted the web to look up planting supplies. Did she actually think that I would believe that. She has been logged onto World Of Warcraft for almost 2 days now. Non stop.

I used to play that game. I got her started in it. I figured that would be a good activity we both could share and do together. I could not have been further from the truth. She always wanted to go off and do her own thing. So, I let her. No biggie. She slowed me down anyway.

Well, I have grown up, so to speak. I have not logged into that infernal game for over a year now. I have uninstalled it from my PC and I have moved on. Looking back, I can not believe how much time I wasted on that game. WOW was not the first game like that that I have played. I started Everquest when it first was released back in the day. I was addicted to that.

I can see the draw that these games have to people, especially reclusive people. Me, I hate people to begin with. I could care less if I talk to anybody or not. When I did play those games, I soloed. I did not group with people.

A year ago when my girl was playing her game, and we were arguing about it, she said to me that the only way she feels normal is when playing that game. That scares me. Should I just cut the web, and not have it in the house. I know that she will do nothing but play that game. I am at a loss. Maybe I just may bring my girl back to realality and tell her to quit, or we are through. I don't know.

I do know this, with her playing that game, she is out of my hair.

NO INTERNET IN THE BASEMENT!!!!

The lady has been ragging on me for a few weeks now. I'm too damn cheap to buy a wireless router, so I had the cable guy switch the service from the basement to the ground floor. The lady has her internet, I'm at peace. She is happy. I'll probably break down and get a router in a few days. I hate spending money, but, it's needed.

On a more positive note. I have found a supplyer to charge my CO2 bottle for the tapper. I am really looking forward to finally start using that tapper. Tap beer tastes so much better than canned or bottled. It's cheaper too. I buy pony kegs, they are easier to handle than a full keg.

I ain't picked up a digital camera as of yet, so I don't have any pics. The basement looks kinda ragged anyways. I just have the basics unpacked, so it's not much to look at. The bar is there though!!!! That's all I need...LOL.

Oh BTW

On a side note. I wanted to add. That Electronic cigarette is working out very well. My lady and myself have cut our smoking in half. We were going through 3 cartons a week. Now we both smoke 1 1/2 cartons between us. I still can't use it while driving. I need a real cig for that. But I will say. When I am drinking, this thing works like a charm!!! Just like smoking a real cigarette, so that is a major plus. I smoke like a chimney when I drink and I have noticed that when I wake up afterwards, I do not hack up a lung. The dude that invented this thing is a life saver!!!! If you are a heavy smoker, I recommend picking one of these things up.

Honey Do!

I have been working on the "Honey Do" list this last month. Hanging shelves and hooks and crap. All upstairs!!!! Urgh. But, thats alright. I really have not done anything in the basement besides knock back a few. I have come to realize this basement is going to work out pretty good. Last weekend I was getting pretty sloshed down there and had the tunes up pretty loud. My lady was kinda pissed, but she got over it. I went out on my front porch to smoke and to see if my music could be heard. I don't want no sound complaints. Just as I suspected. You could hear the music, barely. Ha! Perfect. I can jam in my basement and I just have to deal with the lady. Choice! I don't blast my music that often, so I know this will work out well. I am kinda worried though. When I finally get up north to get my big speakers, I may have a problem. I'm talking about 1000 Watt concert monitors. The nieghbors may hear those when I get them hooked up. I will cross that bridge when I come to it.

On another note, I have figured out how I will place the shelves for all of my equipment and records and crap. Now I just have to get the cash to purchase the materials. I am planning on doing this during the winter. Boy, I can't wait. I am really juiced about this!!

Later peeps, have to hang another shelf for the lady!!!
