It's Done

Well, Christmas came and went. It was not that bad, I'm surprised. Me and the lady had an alright Christmas. She was really happy to spend this Christmas with her grand kids. I could see it in her eyes. When my lady is happy, I'm happy. Her youngest son made it here. I must say. This guy has done a complete 180. He impressed me. He is still a young guy, he's 24, but I must say. He could not have acted and carried himself any better. I must retract the words I wrote about him in my prior post. I was wrong. I wish the bum would follow his lead.

I had to sit down with the bum this evening and bring the guy back to reality. It seems that he has been treating my lady like shit. My lady did not let me know about this, her other son and his wife informed me. Now, getting this little bit of information really pissed me off. The fucking bum did not do it when I was home. He waited until I left for work.

To make a long story short, I informed the bum that this was not his home and he will treat my lady with the respect that she deserves. I let him know that I am the king and what I say goes. I gave him chores and advised him that they will be done daily, if not he could get the fuck out.

I can't understand this fucking guy. I am so sick and tired of the fucking loser I can't stand it. I am a man of my word though. I told the guy he could stay with us until the end of Feb. He's welcome till then.

I have not, and will not be ragging on the guy about finding a job. It's his own fucking responsibility to do that. He has not been looking at all. He's got this idea that he is going to be a tatoo artist, ha! Believe that?

He did get an apprenticeship at a local parlor, he has been going there everyday. He is not earning any cash, lol, but, I am not charging the fucker rent either. He has food stamps that are his wife's and that has been paying for the fucker to eat.

One thing, I did find out the real reason the little pussy got out of the Air Force. He quit. He could not take it. What a fucking wimp.

Well the clock is counting down. I have taken Feb 28th and March 1st off to insure this fucker is out and there will be no problems. My lady has informed me that his wife is going to be doing their taxes soon and they plan on using that money to find a place. I could not be happier. If that's the case the fucker will be out sooner.

The other sons wife did tell me though, the bums wife is not too keen about moving to this state. Apparently the bums wife don't get along with my lady that much and does not want to live that close to her. We will see.

On another note. The bum did have his 5 year old son here, he is staying with his wife. I gotta tell ya. My dog took a real liking to the little guy. I feel sorry for this kid though. He don't really have a father figure. For a 5 year old boy, he was kind of a little pussy. But, that don't surprise me. Look at his worthless fuck pussy dad. I really can not stop criticizing this bum. He has sooo many faults and is totally worthless, I can't believe he has managed to survive this long. I suppose he has been surviving on the kindness and generosity of others. It's sad. This bum is never going to have a pot to piss in or a window to throw it out of. I am not going to help the bum. He will not even help himself.

I'm watching the days tick away. I am never going to let anybody crash with us again. This sucks.

Almost Christmas

Well, the day is almost here. I'm working. My lady has asked her family to visit for the holidays, and they have accepted. I will thankfully be at work. My lady has 2 grown sons. One is crashing with us right now, I fucked up and agreed to let the bum stay with us for 4 months or until he gets a job so he can afford to raise his own family. Needless to say he has been here now for about 2 months and still no job. It does not surprise me. They guy has been a bum since I have been with my lady. He has not had a job in over 5 years. He has had his wife work. In my book, that makes the guy a pathetic piece of shit. But, I agreed to let the guy stay. I figured I could shame the guy into growing up, being a man and taking responsibility for himself, and his family. I could not have been further from the truth. The other son is out of work right now. I have to give him credit though, he does support his family. He has 2 kids. That is the big reason I am working over the Holidays. I can not stand kids. Period. I can put up with them for a couple hours, but that's it. So, it looks as if I am going to be spending the time I will be at home either sleeping, or in the basement. I have informed my lady that the basement is OFF LIMITS. This Christmas is gonna suck, I realize that, but oh well. I'm not a Christmas guy anyway.

Pinoy Bar B Q

Pictured above is what we used to call "monkey meat" when I was overseas in the Navy. This stuff tastes so good. We would buy it from street venders over in the Philippines. I snagged that pic from filipinofoodlovers.com the guy is a chef I think. He has recipies for a bunch of Philippine food. Which is my favorite. I was looking at the recipie and it looks kinda easy to prepare. I'm gonna try this out soon. I miss eating this stuff. It's great. A friend of mine makes pancit, that's a Philippine noddle dish that really good. I've tried to make lumpia in the past with mixed success. I hope this BBQ turns out though. I went and got the skewers, now just need to prepare the meat. Wish me luck!

I'm Still Here

I'm still alive. Nothing has happened to bitch about lately. However, I did see that piece of shit car on the road a few days ago. The red one I have a pic of below, and that thing looks soooo fucking stupid, especially in real life, hahahaha. I gotta tell ya, the stupid fucker driving that atrocity should have his head checked. LOL, what a fucking retard. I wonder if the dumb fucker driving it knows that he is a laughing stock! Probably not. Every time I see something as stupid as this, I shake my head and laugh. I wish I would have had the chance to pull up beside the stupid fuck, I would have let him know his car is funny looking as hell.....hahaha. What a tool!

Not A Good Week To Be Famous

I would like to comment on Jacko passing though. He was a strange dude, but I liked a few of his songs.

He was only 50. People keep comparing him to Elvis, I think that's BS. In no way would he ever to be able to fill the Kings shoes.

Elvis was a pioneer, enough said. MJ just rode the path that Elvis paved in my oppinion. Elvis opened the door so to speak for entertainers to come decades after him. Micheal Jackson will never come anywhere near the legacy that Elvis has established.

I'm Building An Ark

Shit, when is it going to stop raining? It has been raining/overcast now for 10 days straight. Fuck, this shit is getting on my nerves, not to mention boosting the grass. We have had a few times during this 10 day period that it has not rained, but it has been overcast like a mother fucker. The sun has come out a few times, but not that often.

I went and opened up the pool last week. With all this rain we been having, I should have waited a couple more weeks, oh well. I installed a new pump and hoses and got this synthetic material for the filter instead of sand. This stuff is supposed to work alot better than sand, and lasts for 7 years. The pool was very dirty. I swear there was a least a million leaves in the fucker. The cover I had on it last winter was kinda beat up, but sheesh, the water looked like I didn't have it covered at all!

There was a bunch of shit on the bottom. I had some pro-pool guys come out to assess my situation. It was not as bad as I thought. They cleaned the thing up. Now, I'm just waiting for this fucking weather to break so I can use it.

The lady went out and got some trees and plants and crap for the yard. I'm having the lawn guy plant those. I ain't dealing with that shit. I did build a workbench in my garage, after I finished I took a step back and looked at it. It does resemble a bar....hehe, workbench/bar. That will work for me.

Well, the lady is yelling at me, it must be supper time.

Still A Smoker

The gum didn't work. I still smoke. Damn!!! The gum did work for about 24 hours, I think I am just not ready to quit yet. Who the fuck knows.

I went out and got a riding mower, spent a little change on a John Deere. Well, that fucker didn't work either. My yard is mostly hill, I tried mowing and it worked great on my flat areas, on the hill it sucked. I almost tipped over 3 times. Had 3 wheels in the air once. I caught myself, if my lady would have been in the same situation, it woould have come down on top of her. So, the mower is out. I have informed my lawn guy that I will be retaining his services this year as well. He told me that he was wondering how that mower was gonna do on my hill. He does a great job, he uses a big commercial mower. Maybe next year I'll drop some coin and buy a big mower like he has.

One good thing has transpired out of this though, I now have a 65 inch high def. flat screen in the living room. I took the mower money and got that.

Now to say that High def is better than regular TV is an understatement. This shit rocks!! I watched the NBA playoffs last night Boston at Chicago, all I can say is WOW!! There is no comparison. Also picked up a Blu Ray player. I don't know about these things. The player I got "up converts" regular DVD's. I have watched a couple Blu Ray movies and really there aint no difference. I did buy Top Gun on Blu Ray, and that was choice. With the detail from Blu Ray it looked like a different movie. As far as Blu Ray discs go, I think I will not be buying new movies that are released on them, but older movies that are converted to Blu Ray might be the way to go.

I took my 36 inch tube TV and put it in the basement. It's fucking awsome. I now have the basement music room done. I just need to get a few more shelves for the CD's and records I have, but that's it. I downed a few a couple nights ago and watched a few concerts I have on DVD. Had a great time. I need to get my ass up north and get my other speakers. Then it will be complete.

Ah yesss........the house will shake. LOL.

Marley & Me

I watched this movie. I was good....up to a point. As I watched this flick, I could not help but relate to some of the things this pooch did. I have a Lab/Aussie Shepard mix. He is more Lab than anything though. Just bigger than a typical Lab.

This movie was fun to watch. I could understand alot of what went on. My girl and me almost broke up over Max (our dog) so this movie kind of hit home with me.

The way Marley would screw up, and just look up into his owners eyes, the way dogs do. You can see the unconditional love there. You just can't scold them. I went through the same thing with my dog, but, I scolded, yelled, etc....it worked. Now, my dog is no angel, he is pretty well behaved, he sometimes has an incident.

Like the time I was watching TV and having a pizza. Now, Max knows he is not alowed on the table. I got up to refill my soda, I had already eaten 2 slices. I came back and there were only 2 slices left. My dam dog ate my pizza. I was pissed. I yelled, screamed, chased him around the apt. Scared the living shit out him actually, and it worked. He has not been on table since. Looking back, I can't really blame him. That was a very big temptation for him, he could not resist.

Now, when Max screws up, he bows his head and stares at the floor. I don't have to yell at him or anything. Just looking at him does the trick, he knows he did something bad. He's a good dog. He does have his little transgressions every now and then but that is to be expected, we never formally trained him. It was just the lady an myself, we never sent him to obedience school or anything. I think we did a pretty good job.

One thing we did not do was train him to be a guard dog. He just turned out that way. Kinda like the junkyard dogs you always hear about, but never see in real life. If you have never heard of these kinds of dogs, I will explain. See, junkyards are huge and usually surrounded by a fence. Before video and all these electronic alarms and such, owners of these junkyards would close the gates at night and let these dogs roam. These dogs are very territorial. If a stranger would happen to enter the property, these dogs would attack, period, and would not stop. My dog is like that in his territory (the house). I have tested this on several occasions. My dog is not a lovable friendly dog, he is very viscious, and that I think is a good thing. If we have company or somebody over we put him in a bedroom or somewhere. Sure, he goes nuts barking, but that's it. I work mids and we live in the country. I feel better at work knowing that nobody will go into my house for any reason without my ladies permission. The dog would tear them apart. My lady feels alot safer out there at night also. If somebody were to try and break into the house and rob us, he better try when we are at home, to control the dog, if not the guy would get mauled.

The big problem I had with Marley and Me was the ending. The ending SUCKED!!!!! I do understand no dog lives forever, but , shit.... why the fuck did the asshole make us sit through Marley's death?!!! Fuck that!!! I felt like shit afterwards. Glad I did'nt watch it with the lady, she would have thought I was a big pussy after seeing my reaction to the end of that flick.

I went out and got my dog an ice cream cone. I love my dog.

Trying To Quit

I went out and picked up some nicotine gum. Now, I tried this shit out about 15 years ago and it didn't work. It tasted like shit as well. This new stuff seems to be doing the trick so far, it also don't taste that bad. I am very hopefull. Fucking smokes cost and arm and a leg now. The fuckers also raised the taxes on booze. I can quit smoking I think, I know I can't do without my beer. The real test will be when I have a few, probably tomorrow. That's the start of my weekend. I read somewhere it will take my body 15 years to return to the state that it was before I started. I have been smoking for about 20 years now. I know this is in my head, but, I do feel like I have a little more energy. I don't think I will start feeling anything major for a few weeks. I think the little energy burst I have going is due to trying to meet my goals, and completing them. I can't believe it. If I go 24 hours without a cig, that would be the first time in 20 years that I have not had a cig for that long. I am going to try very hard to get past this. I don't want to be a slave to these fuckers anymore.

Burned Out

Well the lady will be back in a few days. I go to pick her up from the bus station on Friday. She does not like flying, so she takes the bus. I would rather drive/fly. Screw Greyhound. I would have drove her, but did not want to waste my vacation time. I plan on taking her on a cruise this winter maybe, or Disneyworld. I have always wanted to go see Disneyworld. I'm not sure what we are going to do this winter. I do know tat we are going on a "real" vacation. Something we both have never done. Maybe Vagas, hehe, I'm all over the board on this one. I really don't know where we are going. I do know that we are staying in the country.

I'm pretty burned out. Been doing alot of drinking in the basement. I went out and purchased new monitors for both of us. Got a good deal on 2 twenty inch flat panel ones for 148 bucks each. This monitor is choice. I did not want to buy anything that would encourage my ladies computer use, but I broke down. I wanted one, and didn't want her feeling left out, so it's a surprise for her when she returns. I think she will like it.

We are both going to go and pick out a riding lawn mower probably next week. I'm waiting for her because she is the one that is going to be using it. I don't do yard work....hehe. I'm a lazy ass. We need one, the yard is huge, and the lawn guy does do a good job, but charges 45 bucks each time he mows. That can get pretty expensive if we get alot of rain like we have been getting.

I'm still planning on making my bar, into a karoke bar. Just need to pick up the equipment. Well i'm gonna close this now. I'm getting kinda hungry, I may go get some KFC, I don't feel like cooking.

Just Me & The Dog

Well, it's just me an the dog. My lady wanted to go up north to see her kids and spend Easter with them. The house feels kinda empty without her here. It's only for a week. We will manage. I feel for the dog though. I work 12 hour shifts a couple days a week, so that means he is here by himself. He's a trooper, he ain't had no accidents yet. He's a good dog.

The whole reason I did not get a dog when I was single was because I did not want to leave him home by himself. Dogs are people animals. To leave a dog locked up in a house for long periods alone is torture for them, I think anyways.

My lady will be gone for about 1 1/2 weeks. It's strange really. I did not think I would miss her this much, but I do. I ain't downed any beers yet. I will have to wait for the weekend. I'm looking forward to that. I can listen to the tunes as loud as I want. I'm gonna rock out with my cock out, so to speak!!!

I plan on doing a few things in the house to surprise my lady when she gets home. She has been on me about hanging curtains in the living room. I think I will do that, I hope I choose the right color though. You know how chicks are. The one mission I do have though is her 7 little lemon trees. I can not forget about those.

I am proud of her because of those. See, she went and got a lemon from the store, got the seeds and planted them. They lived!! I could not believe it. She has 7 little lemon trees in little pots in her room. There were 8, but one died. The 7 that are left are pretty good size now, I think they will survive. I hope. If I kill those off, my lady will string me up.

Well, the dog is humping my leg to go outside. I gotta go. Further updates to follow.

I'm still thinking of going out and getting that 42' TV for the basement. Not sure yet. There is nothing here to stop me. I'll face the music when she gets home if I get it. One thing I have come to learn. It is easier to get forgiveness than permission. Not that I would need permission from my lady for it. She just would like me to spend the cash on things for the upstairs.

Things

Well, I have been thinking of getting into another hobby (besides drinking). I do have a 2 car garage, and am not using 1 side of it. I would love to get an old Firebird and fix it up. I don't know that much about cars. Just enough to be dangerous. Been thinking of getting an old beater to learn from. Today's cars or nothing but electronics, so, I would need to get one from the 70's or early 80's probably. That don't bother me. I would love to get a 70's era Trans Am.

As far as the basement goes. It is almost where I want it to be. I just would like to get a 40-42 inch TV to hang on the wall and that will be a reality in a few months. I'm saving my pennies so to speak. I'm not the "go out and max out the card" type of person. I don't like to be in debt. My way of thinking is, if you can't afford to buy, don't. Simple as that. Hence, saving my pennies. I pick up the occasional record or cd at garage sales and crap. I'm always on the lookout for those. Not doing the ebay thing no more. I did get a few good deals, but, I'm not looking there any longer.

Craigslist is out. The people on there are idiots. They seem to think anything that Elvis or the Beatles did is pure gold. That simply is not the case. They want big bucks for crap. There are no used record shops in my town, so to go to any of those I gotta drive for an hour. Fuck that. I'll save the gas.

Speaking of Elvis, I'm thinking of taking the lady to Graceland this summer. I'm really looking forward to that. I have never been there. I don't think she is looking forward to it. She would much rather waste her life away logged into that dam game. I do not have any problem with going without her. If that's what she wants, so be it. I sound a little angry towards her, which I am not. She stays out of the basement and my hair, so I don't mind, really. I've told her in that past what I think of that game. She is well aware of my feelings regarding it. I have even told her to take a step back, turn of the computer and look at what she has. All of that time she has wasted, and just look at what she has, nothing. Icons on a computer screen. That is what she has.

I'm ranting on this. I just needed to vent a bit. I have made my mind up. I am going to buy an old 70's era Trans Am. Put it in the other side of the garage, and fix it up. First things first. I need to build a work bench. I have that all figured out.

The Day The Earth Stopped

I just sat through this piece of crap. First off. I was aware that this was NOT The Day The Earth Stood Still. I have heard that the makers of this movie make similar movies with similar titles to Hollywood Big Budget movies. For example Transmorphers/Transformers. You get the idea.

To say this movie is crap is an understatement. I looked at the box art in the video store. It looks cool. A giant robot or Mech standing in a city waiting to rock the place. Looks pretty cool. Well, that's all these big fuckers do. Stand there. I realize that judging a movie by box art is a turkey shoot at best. But come on....why else have a big robot? (to put it on the front of the box, and have stupid fuckers like me spend 4 clams to rent it, I guess) If he ain't going to smash something it's a waste.

The only redeeming quality this movie has is the babe. She is Hot!! With a capital H. You get to see her tits at the start of the flick, but that's it. Nothing else.

This movie could have been alot better if they would have wanted to spend a little money to put some destruction in there, by the robots of course...but nope, nada, nothing. They look like big paper weights.

Don't get me wrong. I like low budget movies. I am a big fan of "cheesy" kung fu movies. The types like they used to show on Black Belt Theater back in the 80's and crap like that. I am surprised this has not been shown on the Sci Fi channel yet.

It may end up there, when they soak as much as they can out or rentals. I am really happy I did not purchase this skunk. The robots do look cool though, and the chick is a winner. Other than that. Don't waste your time. Go watch Goodfellas.

It's Been Awhile

I'm back, so to speak. Been doing alot of thinking lately. Been doing alot of drinking too....LOL!!!

The basement is perfect. I still don't have it set up the way I would like, but it's getting there. So far the first part of 09 has been pretty rough. We had an ice storm a week ago and were without power for 5 days. I live in a rural area and it was colder than shit in the house. I was unprepared. We lost power on a Tuesday night. I thought nothing of it and went to sleep thinking the power would be back in the morning. Boy was I wrong. My whole town was out and they were saying that it could take up to a week for full restoration.

The temps outside were in the teens at best and below at night. I had to find a way to heat my house or we would freeze to death, not to mention the pipes would burst. I didn't have the money for a generator, so I decided on getting a couple kerosene heaters.

Now, the whole town was out, the whole area was out. I think I would have had a better chance hitting the lotto than buying a kerosene heater. I had this lame brained idea I would try candles.......ya I know. My lady said the same thing. I went out and got about 80 candles, needles to say they didn't work. A friend of mine did not have power as well, but he had 2 gas fireplaces. He invited me and the lady over, I declined because of our dog. He is a real asshole to strangers. My buddy did have 2 kerosene heaters though. He let me borrow them.

Man. Those heaters saved my ass. It was toasty warm in our pad. I went over a couple times and checked on our neighbors, he went out a got a generator. They were cool. Everybody else on our street split. So that week was boring as hell. I had this little black and white TV powered by batteries that we were watching and shit. I didn't drink no beers. Was going too, but figured I better keep my wits in case something happened.

Well, we have now had our power back on for 3 days. I am still a little worried about losing it again. Those heaters are standing at the ready if I do, along with the little TV.

This is never going to happen again. I WILL BE PREPARED!!

That's it. Gotta work tonight, this is my Monday, so tossing back a few is gonna have to wait.

I just hope the power remains stable.
